I started as a logistics apprentice in 2008 and later went on to manage a team. When I decided to change career, I was able to do so within the company. Moving to the IT department was a bold step, but ECOMAL supported me in learning new skills and making a successful contribution to EDI/API, database and programme development.

From apprentice to manager - that's how you could describe my career path at ECOMAL. I started my apprenticeship here back in 2004 and have taken on more and more responsibility over the years. These days, I'm deputy logistics manager and I lead a team of over 30 employees. My development shows what's possible when you're given opportunities and make the most of them.

I started my apprenticeship at ECOMAL in 2005, after which I worked in purchasing for several years before leaving the company to gain external experience. In 2020, I returned to ECOMAL as Regional Sales Manager in the sales department, an area that has always fascinated me. I particularly appreciate the trust placed in me here, as well as having the freedom to implement my own ideas.

I was given a lot of responsibility at ECOMAL from the outset. After just one year, I became deputy manager of the sales office in Kirchzarten, and later its manager. Even after taking parental leave, I was able to continue in this role on a part-time basis. This demonstrates that personal circumstances are taken into account as well as performance. Here, I don't have to choose between my career and my family - both are possible.
