Field Application Engineer (m/w/d) - Region Austria and Eastern Europe
Your Tasks
As an experienced Field Application Engineer in the Business Development Department, you will work closely with our customers and provide expert advice in the field of active and passive electronic components. To achieve this, you will not only conduct workshops and training sessions, but also provide professional guidance and decision-making support to our customers in selecting electronic components.
As an Electrical Engineer (or equivalent), you will also serve as a key contact for our sales department, ensuring that they are well prepared and up to date when it comes to selling our products.
Personal contact, strong customer relationships and excellent service are highly valued at ECOMAL. Therefore, you will regularly visit our customers to provide the best possible technical support on site - from design-ins and project work to complete solutions, your expertise will make the difference.

Your tasks include:
- Providing competent technical support to our customers in the field of active and passive components in Austria and Eastern Europe, with occasional travel to other European countries.
- Identifying and developing potential customers.
- Developing regional technical strategies.
- Supporting the sales team in generating new projects and strengthening customer relationships.
- Preparing and delivering technical seminars and workshops for customers and internal sales teams.
- Participating in trade fairs and industry events.
Your Profile
We want to continue growing and advancing ECOMAL - with you as an expert for the technical side of our products.You bring:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification (e.g. Industrial Engineering with a focus on Electrical Engineering)
- Strong knowledge of electronic components, particularly power electronics
- Excellent presentation and communication skill acrross all levels of an organisation
- Fluent English and good German skills
- Good MS Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Resilience, flexibility and strong teamwork skills, combined with the ability to work independently and in a structured manner
- Willingness to travel extensively within your assigned region and occasional travel to other European countries.
